(OMAHA) – Methodist Health System President and CEO John M. Fraser announced the appointment of David J. Koraleski to president and chief executive officer of Shared Service Systems, effective July 1.  Shared Service Systems is an affiliate of Methodist Health System. 

Koraleski has more than 32 years of experience at Shared Service Systems.  He joined the organization as a distribution stock clerk, eventually working his way up to vice president of administrative services, and most recently chief operating officer.

“Dave has proven his leadership and loyalty to Shared Service Systems,” Fraser said.  “Few people know this industry, and this organization, as well as Dave.”

Koraleski will take over for Al Chamberlain, who will retire after 39 years of service. Chamberlain was named president of Shared Service Systems in 1987 and oversaw the addition of a 60,000-square-foot distribution center in 1988. He led the update of its commercial health care laundry facility into one of the most modern laundry facilities in the United States.

“Al has been a tremendous leader for Shared Service Systems and Methodist Health System,” Fraser said.  “And, as the mentor to his successor, Al’s leadership will continue to be felt for years to come.”
